The outcome of a TEAM Aer Lingus strike ballot is to be announced today. About 80 aircraft maintenance assistants, members of SIPTU, have been voting in a dispute over productivity payments, temporary workers and "upskilling" their work.
The union is expected to announce that its members have voted for industrial action. If so, it will be the first time TEAM workers have done so since the end of the 1994 dispute.
