Residents were allowed to return to their homes early today hours after they were evacuated due to a major fire at a west Belfast tyre depot.
Firefighters were called to the building on the Stewartstown Road, which also contained fuel oil and gas cylinders, shortly after 10 p.m. last night.
Due to the risk of explosion, families were forced to evacuate their homes in the nearby Brookland Grange area.
But they were allowed to return home at around 1 a.m. after the fire was brought under control. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
