A Co Louth farmer, described in court as a leading member of the "Real IRA", was further remanded in custody for three weeks by the Special Criminal Court in Dublin yesterday.

Mr Liam Campbell (38), of Upper Faughart, Dundalk, Co Louth, is charged with membership of an illegal organisation styling itself Oglaigh na hEireann, the Irish Republican Army, on October 3rd last.
