Randox Laboratories is to create 135 jobs in the Donegal Gaeltacht as part of a €7.5 million investment.
The company is to set a manufacturing plant produce a range of medical diagnostic products including analysers and biochips for clinical and research use. A research and development team will also work on developing new diagnostic products.
The jobs will be created over the next three-years and Údarás na Gaeltachtais providing grant aid for the development. Randox is expected to buy an existing factory in the Údarás business park in Dungloe as part of the expansion.

Dr Peter FitzGerald, Randox managing director, said Dungloe was selected because of the "high quality facility, the well educated workforce and the infrastructure".
"We are excited about this expansion and hope it will increase the local economy's success by providing a range of professional employment opportunities," he said.
"We hope this will also aid in our mission to improve diagnostic solutions on a continual basis."
