Manila - Philippine President Fidel Ramos, under fire at home after hinting he might run for re-election, has said he will step down when his term ends next year. Mr Ramos, on the last leg of a 10-day foreign trip, told the Pravo newspaper in Prague that "he is prepared to graduate on June 30th, 1998, and leave behind a robust democracy [and] sustained economic growth".
