Strasbourg - French customs officers yesterday said they had seized a consignment of Ukrainian mushrooms after intercepting several other truckloads of eastern European mushrooms suspected to have been contaminated by the Chernobyl disaster.
They added that they had stopped and then sent back two truckloads of Bulgarian mushrooms, on August 19th and September 1st, totalling 15 tonnes.
