The PSNI is appealing for information after a serious assault in Lisburn yesterday evening.
The attack in the Old Warren area of the city at about 7pm saw up to seven masked men force their way into a house in the area, armed with baseball bats and a handgun.
Three of the intruders assaulted an 18-year-old man and his girlfriend, who were in the house. The man was taken to hospital with severe bruising and lacerations; his girlfriend suffered bruising to her arm.
