A black American film-maker in Ireland to do a documentary on how refugees are treated yesterday denied in Dublin District Court that he called gardai "scumbags". The charge against Mr Tareek Jones, Cow's Lane, Temple Bar, Dublin, was dismissed under the Probation Act after he agreed to pay £100 to charity.
