Rome - Police in southern Italy said yesterday they had arrested a village priest on charges of sexually assaulting young boys.
They said Father Giorgio Mazzoccato, the parish priest in the tiny village of Castelluccio dei Sauri in the southern region of Puglia, was arrested on charges of "acts of violent lechery".
