Cattle prices did not drop at beef processing factories yesterday as a result of the 5 per cent cut in EU Export Refund Payments on beef exported outside the EU, writes Sean MacConnell. The president of the Irish Farmers' Association, Mr Tom Parlon, confirmed that prices had remained unchanged at the meat factories.
