LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles coroners are to perform an postmortem on actor Brittany Murphy following her sudden death on Sunday at age 32.
The assistant coroner said initial reports showed her death may have resulted from heart-related causes but the postmortem would include toxicology tests.
Celebrity website TMZ said Murphy had been taking medication for flu-like symptoms and there were a lot of prescriptions in the house. Other reports focused on her emaciated appearance in recent weeks. – (Reuters)
