Preliminary results of a post-mortem by the Assistant State Pathologist on a prisoner found dead in Drogheda Garda station were inconclusive. A Garda spokesman confirmed that tests sent for toxicology analysis are expected to clarify the situation.

The post-mortem was carried out in the Louth County Hospital on Thursday night after Mr Walter Kells (26), St Finian's Park, was found dead a number of hours after being arrested for an alleged breach of the peace.
