PARIS - One out of two French voters believe the Prime Minister, Mr Alain Juppe, is doing a "mediocre or bad" job in campaigning for forthcoming elections, according to an opinion poll published yesterday.
The survey results, issued by the CSA polling institute, said 35 per cent believed he was doing an "excellent or good" job in leading the centreright campaign for the parliamentary elections on May 25th and June 1st.
The conservative camp yesterday received a poll boost with predictions of a convincing 101 to 165 seat majority in elections for the 577 member National Assembly.
