Journalist Séamus Martin appointed to Broadcasting Authority of Ireland

Appointment will fill vacancy left by resignation of columnist John Waters

The Cabinet has approved the appointment of former Irish Times journalist Séamus Martin to the board of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.

Martin, former International Editor, will fill a vacancy open since the resignation last week of Irish Times columnist John Waters. He was nominated by Minister for Communications Pat Rabbitte.
