Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney and Minister of State Jimmy Deenihan were all stuck in a lift together in Co Kildare today.

The trio were just outside Naas, touring the new Kerry Group building when the incident occured.

After a few minutes, the three Fine Gael TDs were freed, and continued on their tour – this time using the stairs.

Mr Deenihan later described the lift as a “good meeting room” and “intimate”.
