Niamey, Niger - Police broke up a protest by Islamists yesterday against a fashion show which they said would incite people to fornication, witnesses said. Two protesters were injured and around 10 detained when police used teargas to disperse some 1,500 demonstrators outside parliament, the witnesses said.
