London - Armed police in Wiltshire were last night in a standoff with a gunman feared to be holding hostages at a garden centre.
Police said that the man stormed the building in Woodborough, near Marlborough, while it was full of customers at 4.15 p.m. The hostages were thought to include his ex-girlfriend.
