Kos - A senior Greek tourism official yesterday promised travel agents that the 2004 Athens Olympics would go ahead as planned.
There had been fears that Greece would be unable to complete all the vast infrastructure work needed to host the games. But Mr Panos Argyros of the Hellenic Tourism Organisation said yesterday: "Everything will be ready."
