The Sinn Fein MP, Mr Martin McGuinness, says he has been lobbying the Irish Government to set up passport offices in Belfast, Derry and other Northern towns. He said British passport-holders in the Republic were able to go to offices in Dublin and Cork, so he saw no reason why the same service should not be available for Irish passport-holders in the North, where the demand for Irish passports was so great.
