London - A bride-to-be died from "economy class syndrome" minutes after leaving a long-haul flight it was reported yesterday. Fitness fanatic Ms Emma Christoffersen died from a blood clot brought on by sitting in a cramped seat for 20 hours of a 10,000 mile journey from Australia.

Emma's mother, Mrs Ruth Christoffersen (54) from Newport, South Wales, said: "We were told she died from sitting on the jet for such a long time."
