A Co Antrim family has escaped injury after a pipe bomb was left on the window-sill of their house. The device was discovered at Lowtown Terrace in Cullybackey at about 7.30 a.m. yesterday. The family was moved out of the house and the device was made safe by British Army bomb disposal experts shortly before 11 a.m. The RUC said they had ruled out a sectarian motive and believed the device had been left by mistake.
