Miami - A US pilot of Vietnamese origin flew over Cuba and dropped anti-Castro leaflets over Havana. Mr Ly Tong (51) rented a small airplane in Key West, Florida, to drop the leaflets.

Two Cuban MiG fighters scrambled to meet the plane, and in Florida a US F-16 fighter jet took off from the Homestead Air Force Base just south of Miami. But US and Cuban authorities worked together to prevent any serious incidents.
