London - An Algerian pilot accused of providing flight training to four of the hijackers who carried out the terrorist attacks on the US was refused bail yesterday, Rachel Donnelly reports. Another man appeared in court charged with terrorist offences under British terrorism legislation.
Mr Lotfi Raissi (27) is facing extradition to the US after the FBI said it wanted to interview him about the terrorist attacks. A second man, Mr Sulayman Balal Zainulabidin (43), from south London, appeared at Belmarsh Magistrates Court charged under the Terrorism Act with providing instruction about weapons.
