The Pettitts supermarket chain will trade under the SuperValu brand from January next year after signing a deal with SuperValu parent Musgrave SuperValu Centra.
The move will see the five stores based around the Wexford region trade as Pettitts SuperValu under the agreement while remaining independently owned by Pettitts Supermarkets.
Des Pettitt said: "The agreement will offer Pettitts the benefits of scale and buying power."
