Police in Newtownabbey are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house.

Three petrol bombs were thrown at a property in the Derrycoole Way area at around 3.40am.

A PSNI spokesman said no damage was caused to the house, but a parked car was scorched.

Elsewhere police in Bangor are appealing for information after a suspicious fire in the Clandeyboye Estate during the early hours of this morning.

A Massey Ferguson tractor and a slurry tanker sustained extensive damage in the blaze, which happened shortly after 3am.
