ROME - The mother of the dead Peruvian guerrilla leader, Nestor Cerpa Cartolini, said yesterday his head had been riddled with bullets during the storming of the Japanese ambassador's residence in Lima last month.
"In the case of my son, 30 bullets were found in his head," Ms Felicitas Cartolini told a news conference in Rome. "The others were, however, completely blown to pieces."
