A man was killed when he was hit by a car near Navan, Co Meath, early this morning.
At around 6.45 a.m., the man was hit by the car as he was walking in Cannistown. He was later pronounced dead at Navan Hospital.
Gardaí have yet to identify the man but say he is in his late twenties or early thirties.
