An 80-year-old pedestrian was killed yesterday evening when he was struck by a car in Co Donegal.
The man was hit by the car at Trentaboy, Drumkeen on the Letterkenny to Ballybofey road at around 6.20 p.m.
He was brought to Letterkenny General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
There were no other injuries.
The man's name has not yet been released.
