Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney is to play in Dublin on May 27th.
Tickets for the gig in the RDS will be priced between €75 and €105 and will go on sale next Thursday week. It will be McCartney's first Irish date in 40 years.
The music legend is expected perform 22 songs from his Fab Four days, with many drawn from the late Beatles period when the band had abandoned live concerts.
He also intends to give a number of his tracks a facelift, as well as airing at least a dozen songs from his Wings and solo days.
"There are a couple of numbers that I hope we might be able to reinvent. I tend to try do them like the record; I always have done," Sir Paul said.
"The Beatles always tried to do them like the record, assuming that people come and say 'Oh, I love that one, but they did it funny'. But I've got a fancy for 'Hello Goodbye', it's got like a modern beat. 'Coming Up' (a single by Wings) could be a bit updated; there's certain ones that could take it," Sir Paul said.
