A man seriously injured in a crash at the weekend has died in hospital.

A man seriously injured in a crash at the weekend has died in hospital.

Stephen McElwaine (34) was a passenger in a van involved in a single-vehicle incident in Co Donegal last Saturday night.

Two other men travelling in the van on the Drumkeen to Stranorlar road at Ballinaglack at 9.40pm escaped with minor injuries.

Mr McElwaine, from Convoy, Co Donegal, had been on a life-support machine, but died in Letterkenny General Hospital yesterday afternoon.
