At least one Palestinian fighter was killed in a gunbattle with Israeli forces near the
Jewish settlement of Kfar Darom in the Gaza Strip on Friday, according to the Israeli army.
The Israelis said three fighters took over a house near the settlement and that at least one had been killed.
Israeli radio said there were no Israeli casualties.
