Racing:John Oxx was pleased with the state of the track as well as being happy with Sea The Stars after the hot favourite arrived safe and sound in Paris ahead of Sunday's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
"This meeting is often run on soft ground so we are lucky the way things have worked out, although this is Paris and the weather can be fine at this time of year," said the Currabeg trainer.
"There is no significant rain forecast. There may be a little bit but it won't change the ground much.
"You can never be too confident as he has run in big races all year and hasn't been specifically trained for this, but he seems to be holding his form.
"I am very happy with him and think he is in the same form as he has been all year.
"He has made a lot of physical progress since he won the Eclipse. He has got stronger and put on muscle - he has made incredible physical progress each week in the last few months."
Oxx, speaking after Tanoura had run in the Qatar Prix de Royallieu, added: "I only arrived before the last race so haven't been out on the track but it looks fine.
"The horse arrived about an hour ago. His journey went well and he is happy and in good form."
