More than 200 Ordnance Survey staff held a one-day strike yesterday in protest at a refusal by management to reinstate four IMPACT members who have been suspended for more than three years.

The four workers had been accused of financial and accountancy regularities but were cleared of criminal charges. IMPACT has called for an investigation of how the State's mapping agency is managed.
