A search was called off last night for the skipper of a Co Down fishing boat which overturned in rough seas off the Isle of Man. His five crew members on board the Amber Rose from Portavogie were rescued by lifeboat after the vessel sank around 10 a.m. yesterday. Mr Dick James of the Northern Ireland Fish Producers' Association said divers would search for the skipper today. The crewmen, including the skipper's son, received hospital treatment in Douglas. One fishermen had inhaled oil into his lungs and is in a critical condition, but the others were released.
