CHATTANOOGA - In the US a police officer, who emerged from more than seven years of silence this week, slipped back into a semi comatose state after surgery but was able to communicate non verbally, doctors said yesterday.
Officer Gary Dockery made no "spontaneous attempts"
after the surgery on Thursday to combat pneumonia to speak or to repeat his 18 hour talking spree on Monday that broke 71/2 years of silence, his doctor said.
