Munster back John O'Neill was today called up to Ireland's squad for next month's tour of New Zealand following the withdrawal through injury of team mate Rob Henderson.

Lions centre Henderson, who suffered a shin injury in Munster's European Cup final loss to Leicester on Saturday, was the 10th player to be ruled out of the tour.

O'Neill came close to securing victory for Munster towards the end of the game at the Millennium Stadium. But the video referee ruled that he had been tackled into touch by Leicester's Austin Healey.

Ireland depart on Saturday and play the first game of their three-match tour against a New Zealand Divisional XV in Timaru on June 8th.

They play two tests against New Zealand, the first in Dunedin on June 15th and the second in Auckland on June 22nd.
