Cork's Noel O'Leary will be free to play in the All-Ireland final after the match referee upheld his decision to award only a yellow card during Sunday's semi-final win over Meath.
The Cork defender was caught on camera striking Meath's Graham Geraghty and received a yellow card from referee Brian Crowe.
And after reviewing video footage of the incident sent to him by the Central Competition Controls Committee (CCCC), Crowe remains satisfied the offence warranted just a yellow, effectively putting the matter to bed.
O'Leary faced the prospect of a four-week ban had Crowe revised his opinion, a suspension that would have ruled the wing back out of the decider with the winners of this weekend's Dublin and Kerry clash.
