Darts fans saw the first streaker in the sport's history when a naked woman interrupted the Embassy World Championship and ran on to the stage.

The woman, believed to be named Emma and from Oxford, darted on to the stage at the Frimley Green arena waving her arms.

The crowd at the Lakeside Country Club got to its feet, and gave the woman an ovation and broke into a chorus of Who Let The Dogs Out? - a popular anthem among darts followers.

She was eventually led away from the stage by security staff.

Title-holder Ted Hankey was playing Shaun Greatbatch when the streaker made her dash for stardom. The match resumed 20 minutes later. Hankey won.PA
