Northbound M50 reopens after six-car crash

The M50 northbound from Blachardstown has been reopened following a multi-vehicle crash this morning.

The M50 northbound from Blachardstown has been reopened following a multi-vehicle crash this morning.

Six cars were involved in the crash close to the Blanchardstown slip road just before 8am.

The northbound carriageway was blocked and at one point a tailback extended as far as the Red Cow exit.

The accident also had a knock-on effect on the Navan Road inbound, with traffic extending to the Clonee slip road.

Southbound, there were delays from Finglas to Blanchardstown.
