The Government has formally notified the European Investment Bank that its candidate for the position of vice-president is the second secretary at the Department of Finance, Mr Michael Tutty. An EIB spokesman yesterday confirmed that the EIB's 25 directors will be asked in the next few days formally to ratify Mr Tutty's nomination.
