Nineteen people have been killed and 19 others injured, after a truck collided with a bus in northeastern Iran.

Nineteen people have been killed and 19 others injured, after a truck collided with a bus in northeastern Iran.

The accident happened on the Sabzevar-Nishabour road, the government-run Iran newspaper reports.

The dead included 11 men, six women and two children, the paper says. The injured, some of whom in a serious condition, were taken to hospital in Sabzevar, 400 miles east of Tehran.
