The GAA Central Disciplinary Committee handed out no less than nine charges following the brawls which took place during the Allianz National Football League opener between Dublin and Tyrone in Omagh earlier this month.

Dublin’s Bryan Cullen, Ciarán Whelan, Kevin Bonner, Alan Brogan and Peadar Andrews have each been charged, while Tyrone’s Ryan McMenamin, Michael McGee, Owen Mulligan and Kevin Hughes were also charged.

Both county boards were charged while the Tyrone board have been asked to identify the official who was involved in an incident with a Dublin player during the ugly scenes.

The players concerned have three days to request a personal hearing before a meeting of the CDC has been scheduled for this Saturday.
