London - The BBC yesterday admitted they forgot to stop paying sports presenter Des Lynam his wages after his high-profile transfer to ITV.
The BBC's paymasters continued to pay his wages, reckoned to be around £20,000, into his bank account for two weeks. A BBC spokesman said yesterday: "We spoke to Des and the problem was sorted out."
