The North's Labour Relations Agency (LRA) said today it received more than 9,000 cases of bullying in the workplace last year.

The issue is being addressed in Belfast today at a conference involving the LRA and the Equality Commission.

Harassment is the most common issue in cases assisted by the Equality Commission, making up 25 per cent of cases.

The conference will also raise developments in case law and approaches to dealing with these issues.
