Unemployment figures in Northern Ireland have gone down last month over March by more than 2,000, according to the British government's latest statistics.
Figures for April last year show the number unemployed has gone down by 21,200 in the 12 month period.
The total number unemployed is 64,800, according to the seasonally adjusted figures, which is 8.4 per cent of the population. The Strabane area of Co Tyrone still suffers the worst unemployment with 13.3 per cent of the population unemployed.
