Gardaí in Dublin have renewed their appeal for the public's assistance in relation to the shooting of a young man in Tallaght last October.

The man (27), originally from Castlelawns in Tallaght, suffered a single gunshot wound to the head at an apartment in Russell Rise, off Fortunestown Way.

Gardaí are interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen a white Honda Integra -type R, believed to have been used in the course of this crime. The car was stolen from a garage premises on the Naas Road on October 21st.

The driver’s window of the car was smashed at the time of it being stolen, and the car had no registration plates, according to Gardaí. The vehicle also had distinctive wheels, with white front alloys, and rear silver alloys.
