MEMBERS of German neoNazi organisations are in regular contact with the IRA and Sinn Fein, a German newspaper claims today.

Der Spiegel cites an anonymous neo Nazi source as claiming that members of the little known neo Nazi groups, German Alternative and German Offensive, who have been banned in Germany since December 1992, make regular visits to Irish nationalists.

Unnamed neo Nazi sources are quoted as saying that contacts between the German neo Nazis and the IRA and Sinn Fein are aimed towards "the creation of a revolutionary European nationalist front to fight against imperialism".
