Former South African president Nelson Mandela will meet President George W. Bush during a visit to the United States from November 12-15, Mr Mandela's office said today.
Mr Mandela will use the courtesy call to brief Bush on the peace process in Burundi, where Mandela brokered an end to an eight-year civil war, his spokeswoman Zelda la Grange said.
Mr Mandela, who stepped down as South Africa's leader in 1999, will also meet King Fahd during a holiday in Saudi Arabia from November 5 to November 11.
From the United States, he will travel to Canada, where he will meet Prime Minister Jean Chretien during a four-day stay.
