An Irish-registered fishing vessel has been detained off the North West Coast for alleged breaches of the fishing regulations.

The Naval Service patrol vessel Le Roisin detained the ship on Saturday 33 miles west of the port of KillyBegs in Co Donegal.

The fishing vessel has been escorted to Killybegs where legal proceedings and further investigations are ongoing.
