Racing: Following a 7.30am inspection tomorrow's meeting at Navan has been cancelled as part of the track is waterlogged.
Tomorrow's meeting at Newcastle has also been abandoned for the same reason.
Clerk of the course James Armstrong inspected the track at 12 noon but was forced to admit defeat as the course was still unraceable.
He said: "Things have improved but it's not happening quickly enough and we have had to abandon. We are still waterlogged and more rain is forecast tonight so it looks pretty hopeless."
